Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 60g Reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
Rx. Angelicae Dahuricae Bai Zhi 15g Reduces swelling, eliminates toxins and expels pus.
Mel Feng Mi 60g Eliminates toxins.
Calomelas Qing Fen 12g Resolves toxicity, generates flesh and promotes the healing of sores.
With Xue JIe, Zi Cao, Ma You and beeswax, as an ointment to generate flesh over non-healing ulcers.
Resina Draconis Xue Jie 12g Protects the surface of ulcers, prevents decay and generates flesh.
Rx. Arnebiae/Lithospermi Zi Cao 6g Clears Damp-Heat from the skin and aids the healing of tissues.
With Bai Zhi and Dang Gui, as an ointment for burns or sores.
With Dang Gui, Bai Zhi, Gan Cao and Ma You, topically for itching and irritation from insect bites.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 36g Clears Heat and relieves Fire toxicity.
Oleum Sesame Ma You 500g Moistens Dryness and neutralizes toxins.

NOTES

  • Soak Dang Gui and Bai Zhi in sesame oil Ma You for three days. Simmer them until brown before filtering. Add melted honey Feng Mi. When the oil is slightly cooled, add the other ingredients and stir to mix thoroughly. Spread on a piece of gauze and apply to the lesion.
